    Iandra Castle is just 11 kilometres south from Greenethorpe. Iandra Castle was built in 1911 by Mr. Greene, the founder of Greenethorpe. The “castle” was one of the first reinforced concrete structures in Australia — cutting edge construction technology at the time.

Near Attractions

Greenethorpe is located in the Central West of New South Wales. It is located in rural landscape and is own the heart of sheep and wheat production, along with other agricultural production. It is located centrally between Cowra, Young and Grenfell so the Circa 1935 Guest House can be used as a convenient base to explore the surrounding areas and events.

Iandra Castle

Iandra Castle is located on the road from Greenethorpe heading south to Young. It has regular Open Days listed on its website. It is just a short 11 kilometre drive from Circa 1935 to the Castle.

Cowra Japanese Garden & Cultural Centre Australia is just a half-hour drive away from Circa 1935 at Greenethorpe. The holds a number of events over the year, with its main event in September: the Sakura Matsuri festival, with an influx of over 3,000 visitors. Coming up soon is a Children's Day in early May.
